Paid our annual visit to Santa John today, our 9th year in a row. She's really grown, and who knows if she still believes in Santa. But she dressed up to see him and his beard is still the real deal.

12 years ago, upon moving to the US, we discovered that the push-and-turn style of light bulbs used in our over-seas lighting were hard to find. when i finally found a supplier in Seattle I bought 20 bulbs, thinking that would be enough for years to come.

I never expected that 12 years later we'd have 19 bulbs left, but one has finally gone out.
